Costume Construction Experience

Rodgers And Hammerstein's Cinderella (2026)

For this production, I was assigned to create a cape-vest for the character Sebastian. I began with a pre-made pattern, then after a mock-up fitting, I adjusted the pattern in accordance to the designer's wishes, and to the fit of the actor. The collar was adjusted to be more flared, the shoulder seam was pushed forward and taken in, and the over all drape was adjusted to be more of an a-line fit.

Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy, Really. (2026)

The designer for this production wanted an apron that fit akin to a dress for the character Miller. I began by hand-patterning a first draft, which was then adjusted after the mock-up fitting. The apron was complete with interfacing and lining, as well as a waist and a standing collar. For Van Helsing, two waist satchels were needed, which I patterned and handed off to a stitcher to complete. They were attached to a belt with copper pieces, which I painted to be silver.

Guys And Dolls (2025)

During my junior year at Texas State University, I was tasked with patterning and creating a fur stole for the character Adelaide. The mock-up process begun at half-scale, then a secondary full-scale mockup was created before I moved on to the final fabric. Two fittings were scheduled, one for the full-size mockup and one for the final product, and adjustments were made accordingly. The stole was specially made to the actor's height and shoulder-length, and the pattern was meant to create the illusion of a spiral.

Corsetry

In my passion for historical costume construction, I have expanded my knowledge of corsetry. I am versed in the construction of made-to-fit corsets using steel boning, as well as stays using chording, and the pattern adjustments needed throughout the process.
